Earlier today I wrote about the new lie-flat business class seat that will appear on La Compagnie’s new A321neos. The seats have now been revealed.
La Compagnie just posted the following image on Instagram:
Thus, we now have our answer. The new seats will be by Rockwell Collins Diamond seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration. The beds are 76 inches long (1.92 meters) and mattress pads will be provided.
We’ve also learned that the new seats will be provisioned with Zodiac Rave in-flight-entertainment systems:
This will be in addition to the ViaSat-2 in-flight wi-fi system that will provide internet speeds equivalent of 4G.
The first delivery of the new Airbus A321neo is expected in April 2019 and the second by September 2019.
I look forward to trying La Compagnie once the new seats are delivered. If the airline can also enhance its soft product, it might have a real winner. For $1,600 round-trip, you really cannot beat the price.
