Air New Zealand continues to win accolades in the creativity department. The airline that has brought us rugby safety videos, peverted fuzz balls, and offensive billboards, now has a new humorous 737 safety video out starring fitness-guru Richard Simmons.

I like it. It is funny, gets the point across, and as usual, NZ’s laid back crews are part of the action.
Contrast this to Qantas flight attendants expressing anger last week over John Travolta appearing in that carrier’s safety video.
Air New Zealand must be doing something right–this safety video must have a cost quite a bit to make, but I bet they recouped most of it back in the free publicity this will video will bring, just like their videos of the past.
