Airlines Make Thanksgiving Possible

Matthew Klint Posted onNovember 24, 2011December 6, 2016 1 Comment

Happy Thanksgiving to my readers in the United States and pleasant greetings to everyone. I am spending the day with family and friends today and thought it would be fitting simply to express my gratitude to the airline industry for making it so easy to bring families together from across the nation and around the world on special holidays like Thanksgiving each year.

When I take a step back and think that I travelled over 5,000 miles in 11 hours (well, maybe just a little longer) for a very modest price, I must simply must say “thanks.” We all have so much to be thankful for.

Well put Matthew. The TWA ad reminds me of the many great ads from the 60s and 70s on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Thanks to US for getting me home to MCI to visit family for Thanksgiving.
