My spacious suite at the Andaz Singapore provided a perfect venue to balance work and rest.
This review focuses solely on my suite. For additional details about the hotel including dining, pool, and other amenities, please check out my full review.
This was a complimentary, space-available upgrade rather than utilizing one of my four annual Globalist Suite upgrades.
Walking in, the bedroom, bathroom, and living room were on the left and the guest bathroom and large walk-in closet on the right.
The bedroom featured a king-size bed, chair, and writing desk, which even contained office supplies.
Switches beside each side of the bed controlled the lights and automatic drapes. Power ports and USB ports were available.
Past the bedroom, via sliding door, was a sitting room with a second TV, a comfortable couch, dining table, and bar set-up with coffee and the mini-bar.
The main bathroom was very large with an enclosed water closet on one side, dual sinks with plenty of counter space in the middle, and a walk-in shower and bathtub on the other side. Views from the bathtub were excellent and the window was tinted to provide privacy (hopefully…).
Finally, the guest bathroom was tiny, but served its purpose with a sink and toilet.
Even the walk-in closet had great views of the Singapore skyline:
What I appreciated most about the suite was separate living room, which allowed me to work and speak on the phone freely while John was sleeping, and vice-versa. Our internal clocks were jet lagged and we slept at odd times over our two-night stay.
Excellent views as well from our 33rd floor room:
CONCLUSION
The suite at this hotel is spacious, comfortable and well-worth the upgrade if you are a Globalist member. I look forward to returning to this hotel with my wife and son one day.
