After the declaration of independence, my brother and I decided to visit Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. We were immediately struck by the vibrant energy of the city, with its bustling markets and lively cafes. Walking through the streets, we were able to see the blend of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and Soviet influences in the architecture, creating a unique and eclectic atmosphere.
We spent hours exploring the city, taking in the sights and sounds of Pristina. From the historic landmarks to the modern art galleries, there was always something new and exciting to discover. It was a refreshing experience, and one that left a lasting impression on us.
