A 27-year-old Bulgarian woman was arrested after ripping her clothes off on a Lufthansa flight then biting a federal police officer who tried to put a blanket around her.
Woman Takes Her Clothes Off On Lufthansa Flight, Bites Police Officer (And Won’t Let Go)
On Friday evening, a disturbance occurred onboard Lufthansa flight LH1704 from Munich (MUC) to Sofia (SOF). For reasons that are not yet clear, a young woman took off all her clothes after boarding her flight, operated by an Airbus A320 jet.
Police were called in to assist and in order to protect her modesty, one member of the Bundespolizei (Germany’s federal police force) tried to place a blanket around her. She respond by biting the police officer…and refusing to let go until she was very forcibly pulled off. The injury of the police officer is not clear, but he was taken for medical treatment and unable to continue duty.
From NTV, here’s a translation of what transpired (from the original German):
A naked passenger delayed the start of a flight from Munich to Sofia for hours and got into trouble with her appearance. As the federal police announced, the 27-year-old undressed completely before taking off on Friday evening on board a Lufthansa plane and screamed loudly. Several federal and state police officers who were summoned could not calm her down or get her to get dressed again. A federal police officer then tried to put a blanket around the naked woman.
“During this attempt, the woman suddenly bit her colleague in the left forearm,” the police said. The officer had to use “immediate coercion” “to pull her off and protect himself.” The woman was then brought off of the plane with several emergency services. The passenger was taken to the [local] hospital by the state police. She was reported as having resisted law enforcement officials, assault and physical harm.
The flight ended up taking off over three hours late…with one less passenger onboard.
Note to the Bulgarian woman: a Lufthansa plane is not a German sauna, even if the APU is not connected.

No mugshot? I’m disappointed.
Given that this was an inter EU flight and not one in AmeriKKKa I’m betting the woman was actually attractive and not worn out overweight neighbor cattle.
Well attitudes toward nudity are a bit more liberal and mature in Europe, after all.
Is her being Bulgarian relevant in any way to the report or is it just racism?
Racist? I’m not making any remark about a group of people, just providing factual information about the incident.
Bulgarian is not a race.
What a moronic comment!! Since when Bulgarian is a race?
It means she probably had wide birthing hips like most slavic women so it helped us get a new image in our head of what she looked like.
Now see, that’s how you make a possibly racist\sexist\xenophobic comment…
Do you ever not whine?
Hello, pot? It’s kettle calling.
As Borat would say… “Sexy Time, It’s Nice!”
Is that actually her? If so I’m posting bail. Crazy women rule.
Is that a stock photo from the dark web or did you crop a lady into the plane? Either way it was an eye catching and strangely humorous artistic re-creation of the event. You even went so far as to right size her torso to the seats in the plane – maintaining the correct depth perception! Kudos to you Matt!
I made this myself in Photoshop by taking a royalty-free photo of a woman from Pixabay and superimposing her on a Lufthansa A320 cabin image I took.
Don’t be so quick with your praise, she’s facing the wrong way.
Despite the quote I’m skeptical that she’s a cop as stated when it says she bit her colleague’s arm.
All the people who were forcing her back into her clothing are the ones insane. She did nothing morally wrong: “Every man / woman is free to do that which he /she wills, provided he / she infringes not the equal freedom of any other man / woman. – Herbert Spencer.
Post is useless without pics/vids.
Are you sure this wasn’t Luis Suarez? 🙂
Das ist krass!
