Shrewd Model Uses Air Vent To Dry Lingerie On Southwest Airlines Flight

a woman on a swinger on a plane

This is not so much a post on the poor etiquette of a passenger, who disgustingly dried her lingerie using the air vent on a Southwest Airlines flight, but a tribute to her shrewd and effective marketing.

Shrewd: Model “Spontaneously” Dries Lingerie With Air Vent On Southwest Airlines Flight (Yeah Right…)

I’m not going to name her, though I will embed the video below. It is really quite clever. This person, an OnlyFans “model,” claimed that she had a bit too much to drink the night before and continued drinking at the airport (Mirmosas…who’da thunk?). Still tipsy, she spilled her drink onboard. So she took off her underwear…then used the air vent to dry it off.

“I was wearing the panties under a skirt, and I spilled liquor on my skirt and it soaked down to my underwear. So, I took them off and I held them up to the fan to dry. I just figured, ‘Why not?”

Sure, why not – and why not ask your friends seated a few rows back to film it? Then post it on TikTok where you knew that it might go viral and be picked up by travel bloggers like myself looking for clickbait?

Well done. Well done.

She apparently held up her underwear for three minutes before putting her underwear back on…at her seat.

Mission accomplished? Over two million views on TikTok and 14,000 on Instagram.

https://www.tiktok.com/@itsvvsdiamond/video/7092672634239847723?referer_url=https%3A%2F%2Fviewfromthewing.com%2F&referer_video_id=7092672634239847723&refer=embed

Why do I cover this? It’s an amazing look at the fact that bad behavior on airplanes may not be spontaneous; sometimes it is staged simply to profit from the expected reaction to it.

It’s like politicians who carefully craft poll-tests words into speeches, caring little for the substance of what they are saying an only about the reaction from the public.

In that sense, this is far more clever than disgusting (though still disgusting). But I have to smile that her publicity stunt worked exactly according to plan.

I blame the rise of trash sites like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, which exert such insidious and malevolent influence on the digital space, people, governments, and commerce that my fellow man* feels compelled to participate to avoid being excluded from society and community, and that even when he does elect to not participate can hardly escape said insidious and malevolent influence.

I did something better . I dropped all of it. I don’t use any of this junk as they use our information and sell it for their profit. I requested Facebook to delete my account as someone got my information and send them all I requested and they have made it impossible for me to delete it. Instagram was not bad to delete.

Spilled a drink in her panties? Could be a health concern. Not sure why she had to dry them on the flight.

Considering how Southwest seems to have the same dress code as the Puritans in 1650, I’m surprised she wasn’t denied boarding for being such a loose woman.

You can’t propose an equivalent solution to one that previously failed and call it a better one. That’s not how this works.

Nothing political about this. Low cost carriers do make air travel more approachable for people with lower income, maturity, manners, and education levels.

Maybe her parents raised her wrong, but at the end of the day, in this scenario; she was not intelligent or respectful enough to recognize the biohazard she was exposing passengers to.

Actions have consequences. This person should be fined by the FAA, charged with indecent exposure (imagine a male doing this, and the outcome….it would be a felony prison sentence), and banned by Southwest Airlines.

TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat = they all thrive on clicks, engagement, ad impressions. The more wild and outlandish something is; the more they earn (Regardless of if the activity driving engagement is illegal or not). Social media companies should not be rewarded with ad revenue on content that is (indirectly encouraging) illegal behavior. TikTok should not be paid when they monetize clips of indecent exposure; they should be fined.

Next person to do this won’t even bother to spill anything or take off their underwear; they’ll just take an extra pair and hold them up for attention and to record it for social media.

Seriously, Mathew, this is a new low for you. I enjoy your travel blog for ideas and interests and advice. Not this trash.

You claim yourself to be a family man with standards and values. Consider ignoring this type of trash content. As you correctly point out, it’s nothing more than an unglamorous publicity stunt.

Can you explain to your readers where you actually stand in terms of balancing serious travel material with silly click bait crap?

As one commenter recently pointed out, your comments section are a “dumpster fire”. No wonder, with you adding trash, gasoline, and a half lit cigarette.

I see your point and it’s a close call in that I think Matt wants to make a point that these stories are increasingly clickbait and to keep that in mind.

On the other hand, I think that they get worn out eventually as people say “been there, done that” and just ignore them and the reality star wannabe winds up surprised when nobody cares.

Note the median OnlyFans star earns $180/month. At one time, MySpace was huge too. This too shall pass.
