Thug Is Arrested After Threatening Singapore Airlines Flight Attendant….For Not Giving Him Water

A thug has been arrested in Singapore after cursing out and threatening a flight attendant and making a fool out of himself onboard a Singapore Airlines flight from Bangkok to Singapore. All over a bottle of water?

Man Threatens Singapore Airlines Flight Attendant…Over Water

The video below, shared on Tik Tok, is not safe for work. Let me give you a preview:

“Why don’t you give me f*cking water, you f*cking idiot?”

He claimed flight attendants denied him water for two hours. But as it turns out, SQ711 from Bangkok (BKK) to Singapore (SIN) is only two hours in length, so it is hardly likely that he was denied water for that long. He then threatens to “push over” the flight attendant.

As the story goes, the guy with the dopy haircut, red jacket, and black hat consumed too much alcohol onboard and became enraged when flight attendants cut him off. A Singapore Airlines spokesperson offered this statement to The Straits Times:

“After his multiple requests… our cabin crew assessed the situation and politely declined to serve him alcohol to ensure the safety of the other customers. “The safety of our customers and staff is always our top priority,” a statement from the airline continued. SIA apologises to all customers on board the flight for the inconvenience caused by this incident.”

Here’s the video:

On 8 Nov 2022, on sq711 landed at Singapore Terminal 2 from Bangok this crazy passenger threatened to push over the sq crew if he does not give him water. The seat belt sign is still on and he suppose to be seated. Wasted all the passenger time for the ground staff security to take him off the plane.#stomp

His conduct is outrageous and I hope he serves hard time for his outburst. I love how the plane bursts into applause as he is led off.

CONCLUSION

A thuggish passenger on a short flight from BKK-SIN apparently menaced a flight attendant when he was denied (more) alcohol. Now he faces a fine and prison time, which I hope is harsh to deter others from drinking alcohol without discretion onboard.

I cannot quite tell from his accent, but hopefully, he is not an American…

Folks, on this side of the mask era, are you noticing a very stable trend when it comes to the link between flight disturbances and alcohol?

No, he won’t serve any “hard time” for this. No, they will never stop serving booze on airplanes, so that debate must be dropped before it starts. Doing so would guarantee the demise of several if not all air carriers. YES, this guy has a very very very American accent so he is very likely one. A very prissy one too!

You are an expert in Singapore laws you raging alcoholic? They absolutely can end booze on flights if they wanted, they don’t because they can up charge a premium and it helps keep nervous fliers calm. They could end the practice tomorrow and hand out a man over the counter Xanax equivalent if it would make them money. Planes are not flying bars you weird wineo

Shut up you raging hypocrite. You and your minion below already know how airlines are dependent on ancillary purchases like alcohol. Clubs, lounges, airport concession stands, on board sales, it is huge revenue the airlines are not ready to blow up just yet. Go pander to the likes of grandstander Sara Nelson, you fit perfectly well among that lazy trolling tribe!

Are you an alcoholic or do you consider yourself a wine connoisseur? You realize planes are not in fact a mobile bar? They absolutely can end drinking on flights. The only reason they don’t is because it’s profitable, the other added bonus is it keeps nervous fliers calm. You should look into a 12 step program if you think you can’t fly 3 hours without drinking uncontrollably and harassing a stewart

Thug is an unacceptable term. Come on Matt, you need to keep up with what words can’t be used in todays woke world. You have a few readers who will have their day ruined if they see you used this banned word.

As usual, right-wing troll misses the point entirely. The issue with the word “thug” is that it’s almost exclusively used to describe people of color. I am in full support of the word “thug” being used to describe a-holes of all colors (in this case, a person who appears to be white).

A white blogger uses the term ‘thug’ to describe the behaviour of a white man. I guess that makes it ‘exclusively used to describe people of colour’ eh?

Absolutely terrible use of the word “thug”…. Even ignoring the words racist history.

There are three uses of the the word..

a violent criminal .(I dont think this rises to that). an assassins from India? (Hardly)
    a n****

If neither of these uses apply, then I think you should rewrite your headline, especially if you don’t want to turn people off from your awards business.
