Video has emerged of a horrific passenger assault against a flight attendant on Southwest Airlines on Sunday.
Video Emerges Of Southwest Flight Attendant Brutally Attacked By Passenger
I wrote about the incident earlier this week. Southwest Flight 700 departed Sacramento (SMF) for San Diego (SAN) on Sunday. A passenger onboard flouted crew member instructions and became even more belligerent after landing. As a Southwest spokesperson explained:
“The passenger repeatedly ignored standard inflight instructions and became verbally and physically abusive upon landing. Law enforcement officials were requested to meet the flight upon arrival, and the passenger was taken into custody. We do not condone or tolerate verbal or physical abuse of our flight crews, who are responsible for the safety of our passengers. ”
Lyn Montgomery, President of Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 556, confirmed:
“This past weekend, one of our flight attendants was seriously assaulted, resulting in injuries to the face and a loss of two teeth.”

Apparently, the woman took off her seatbelt while the aircraft was taxiing to the gate in San Diego. After the flight attendant told her to put the seatbelt back on, she attacked the flight attendant.
She now faces a flight ban, criminal charges, a hefty fine, and potential jail time.
CONCLUSION
This is a gruesome video and simply repulsive. Whatever the context of this outbreak, the passenger must be held accountable for her vile actions.
And one more thing. Look at the poor little boy sitting in the row in front of the deranged woman. No child should have to witness that…

No, we need to see it and be repulsed by it in order to mitigate this problem. Saying “no tolerance” is not enough. We need to see exactly how things are getting out of hand so that we are not even tempted to act out on a flight.
i hope and pray that the despicable passenger is a multi multi millionaire and that the flight attendant takes a HUGE HUGE piece of the wealth for herself. The FA deserves it. It is a crime and offense to humanity.
Flying these days is like the NHL in the 70’s and 80’s.
I’m pretty sure she’s judgment proof. She strikes me as low/no income given her propensity to resort to violence when confronted with authority and conflict. Ie: Not a lot of tools at her disposal except her fists. She is also obese which correlates with low socioeconomic status, Sitting in the back row of a SW flight is also strong evidence of lack of income given that a few bucks buys a better seat at the front of the plane. Please don’t judge too harshly, this is how the bottom 10% IQ act when confronted with adversity,
One good note, the FA will be entitled to Workers Compensation for an on the job injury, Maybe she even gets a big payout if she suffers lasting injury.

When the airlines and airports tend to treat people like livestock and sub-human, people start to behave like that. Saw a video of flight attendants barking at a family with kids about wearing face diapers/masks when they were drinking a drink on the plane, so don’t really have much sympathy anymore when they don’t exercise reason themselves much of the time. I guess what goes around comes around much of the time.
The assailant needs to get some free room and board courtesy of Uncle Sam for a significant period of time…no less than 10 years. That would be better than any no fly list.

Cheap seats at the back? Oh the socio-economic profiler is referring to Spirit Airlines, which I presume he’s very familiar with. That speaks for itself. Meanwhile, I’m advocating for FA being armed w tasers, & pistols, especially when flying over Texas airspace
She needs deportation back to the third world hell hole where these skills are more necessary.

interestingly, there are accounts where the flight attendant is noted as the one that was escalating and provoking a situation. not sure what the real case is.
well kaboom, sadly all of CA is now third world. Vyvianna Quinonez, the attacker is now an undesirable alien. After her jail time she needs to be remanded to ICE for removal.
Quinonez may be undesirable but I see nothing in a google search regarding her being an alien. nor do I consider California the third world. anyhooo….
