It has been only two months since I made the move to Boarding Area but I already feel like I’ve been here for years. I love being part of this family. I’m still catching up on a backlog of trip reports, though, and would welcome your input on which ones you might find more interesting.
Later this week I will start a new trip report and have many choices to choose from.

A Defense of Older Reviews
A lot of the trip reports above have already been written. I understand that the older the review, the less valuable it is. Nevertheless, even a trip report from a flight two years ago often provides helpful insight into what your travel experience may be. Sure, British Airways may not have its tasting menu in first class anymore, but the A380 hard product has not changed. Indeed, Cathay Pacific may no longer offer balik salmon as a first class appetizer, but the overall service is very similar.
Realize that I will publish old reports no mater what the feedback is because I enjoy or enjoyed writing them. But also note, of course, that I always make the flight date clear and you are free to skip it if you find an older trip report a waste of time.
Definitely the Balkans trip!
Yes, balkans!
I have a lot to look forward to reading about.
I’m actually fascinated by the early stuff first. I really do want to read about your experiences with Cathay, Singapore, Qantas, Thai, and the A380s and of course the Etihad Apartments, and I’m sure that you won’t neglect those reports eventually. Saying that why don’t you get the early stuff off your chest first? It sounds like you really want to report on it, I definitely do care about your experiences around the world, even if they happened in 2011.
TAM 777 please!
Why not just post many of the old reviews immediately if they’re already written? If nothing else, it removes some backlog.
I considered that, but only the trip reports are written — I still have to format and upload the photos which takes almost as much time as the trip report itself. Each detailed flight review or hotel review is a minimum four hour investment, sometimes even longer. If I had the time, I would, but spacing it out is the best I can handle now.
Would love to see the Balkan trip as I’m about to do a very similar trip this summer
BA 380 et al (2015)
Are you a psychology major? That was perfect APA style LOL
LOT 787 Business Class + EVA 777 Business Class + Grand Hyatt Tapei + Park Hyatt Siem Reap + Angor Wat + Austrian 767 Business Class + Brussels A330 Business Class (2014)
Your India trip. I’m very curious to hear about your experience, both at the Park Hyatts and in the cities you visited.
P.S. I personally love these older reports. I’ve also got a ton of material from my pre-blogging days that I’m debating whether to write about or not. Maybe I’ll test out a “Roadtrip Retrospective” and see how it does.
2nd Etihad a380 apartments trip, please!
Please publish your India & Maldives trip with the Etihad first class apartment! I am planning on going to India next year & want to fly the apartment to get there. How hard is it to find availability in the first class apartments on the Mumbai to JFK route via Abu Dhabi & vice versa? I love your trip reports! Thank you!
The LOT 787 trip as their reviews are few and far between.
I vote for the Balkans, and also for the Easter Island trip!
Easter Islands and the Angor Wat trip.
I’ll read them all though.
Thank you everyone for your comments.
