While not as generous as the Lufthansa promotion in March, Lufthansa is offering 20 EUR voucher codes for use on Lufthansa flights departing from Germany.
Simply click on this link, provide your name and e-mail address, and you will quickly receive the discount code in your inbox.
Here’s some of the fine print:
- The voucher can be redeemed between 18/05/2011 and 01/06/2011.
- Travel must be between 20/05/2011 and 30/12/2011.
- Vouchers are only valid for itineraries where all flights are operated by Lufthansa, Lufthansa Italia and Lufthansa Regional Partner (incl. Lufthansa City Line and Eurowings).
- The voucher is only valid for flights departing in Germany.
Keep in mind that applying this voucher, especially on intra-European itineraries, does not necessarily mean that you will save 20 EUR. Many fares, like my recent trip to London, had a base fare of 6 EUR with 93 EUR of taxes and fees (including fuel surcharge). Much like United’s e-cert system, this voucher only discounts the base fare.
But even saving 6 EUR is better than nothing and I look forward to finding my next round of destinations in the region. I’m thinking Belgrade…
