Weekend in Cyprus and Lebanon

Matthew Klint Posted onNovember 19, 2011 2 Comments

Hello from Ercan, Northern Cyprus.

I flew into Larnaca, Cyprus last night and after a brief walk around town travelled north to the disputed Northern Cyprus, a breakaway region whose independence is only recognized by Turkey.

I will soon fly to Lebanon via Istanbul and am treating myself to a couple nights at the Four Seasons in Beirut. I have been very close to staying at Four Seasons properties in Cairo, Washington, and Amman in the past, but this will be my first stay at this ultra-luxury brand. Stay tuned for a full report.

My colleagues tell me Beirut is a great city so I am also looking forward to exploring it and enjoying some delicious Lebanese food.

Have a great weekend.
