Last week I blogged about Virgin Atlantic’s plan to repaint all 38 of its aircraft with a special metallic paint that will be more durable and require fewer coats than would conventional paint products.
Now you can see how the work is done. Check out the time-lapse video below, shot over four days, that illustrates how an airplane is painted and provides a closer look at Virgin’s new livery.
I like the new livery, although I expected it to be more reflective from the mockup drawing.
