90 Years of United History in One Minute

Yesterday I shared 15 Cool Facts About United Airlines and today I want to share a cool video UA put together tracing back the many companies and subdivisions that eventually coalesced to form the United Airlines we know today.

Logos and corporate branding are a particular interest of mine and I love how United recounts its many historic logos. Even TED, the short-lived low-cost subdivision of United, makes an appearance:

And while we are on the subject of branding, this remains my favorite United commercial of all time–

    You and I share an affinity to the past at United as well as good airline commercials. I agree with you on that old one being the best. So good. At least Rhapsody in Blue is still present.

    Rhapsody in Blue, still does it for me even though I’m an AA guy. On the old one, is that Tom Selleck?
