Aer Lingus Gold Circle Lounge Dublin Terminal 2 Review

Aer Lingus’ flagship Gold Circle Lounge is located in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport. I spent three hours here before my Aer Lingus business class flight to Boston last Friday and give it high marks.

  • Location: Terminal 2, Dublin Airport — near shopping, follow signs to “Airport Lounges”
  • Hours: 05:15a – 09:00p, daily
  • Food: sandwiches, soup, scones, cookies, fruits, yogurt, bread
  • Alcohol: complimentary
  • Showers: yes
  • Access: Aer Lingus Business Class passengers and Gold Circle Club Gold/Prestige/Elite members

Aer Lingus Dublin Gold Circle Lounge Seating

Two ladies in Aer Lingus’ signature green uniforms welcomed me into the lounge. It was about noon and the lounge was not crowded. Inside is a high-ceilinged room with Apple iMacs available on the right, a waterfall in the middle, and windows that look out to the tarmac on the left.

More seating is available upstairs, including lounge chairs and another larger seating area.

Aer Lingus Dublin Gold Circle Lounge Food

In the middle is the main eating area. Although there is not an extensive selection of hearty food available, there was soup and lighter snacks on offer. Alcohol is also complimentary and self-serve and there are coffee machines and cold beverages offered both upstairs and downstairs.

Aer Lingus Dublin Gold Circle Lounge Bathrooms and Showers

Having arrived off a redeye, I availed myself to one of the three upstairs shower suites. A separate room for changing separates the shower area. Water pressure was sufficient and water warmed up after about ten seconds. Bathrooms are downstairs.

Aer Lingus Dublin Gold Circle Lounge Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is lightning fast in the lounge. Take a card at the desk with login information and enjoy smooth, fast service.

CONCLUSION

While the Aer Lingus Gold Circle Lounge does not rise to the level of Turkish Airlines or even British Airways in London in providing full meals, the lounge in Dublin is clean, comfortable, and a nice place to spend time before or between flights.
