Angry Cat Shreds 737 Cockpit! (Photos)

Matthew Klint Posted onFebruary 7, 2021 18 Comments

I just thought this was too funny not to share. It appears that a cat got stranded in the cockpit of an EL-AL Boeing 737-900…for two weeks!

Cat Shreds El Al 737 Cockpit

Check out these pictures:

Literally translated, the tweet says:

This morning I peeked at a cat that infiltrated the cockpit of an El Al Boeing 737. This is what the cockpit looks like now, wow.

According to FlightRadar24, the aircraft, with registration EHB and named after the town of Kiryat Bialik, has not flown since January 21st. That would be a long time…

And look at the damage to the cockpit! But what I like most is the look on the cat’s face. As in, what did you expect?

I’m glad the cat appears okay. There must have been some water onboard…maybe in the lavatory?!

As for the cockpit, well that’s going to take some work.

I don’t have rights to use them, so I embedded the tweet. Click on the plane picture and you’ll see the little cat looking furtively out the window.

Another reason cats deserve to die. Hopefully its legs are broken and it is allowed to slowly starve to death.

Small translation mistake – should be “this morning I tweeted about’ instead of “peeked at”.

Hilarious. Was tempted to think this damage to an Israeli aircraft was caused by an nefarious Iranian cat, but from the cockpit photo, the cat does not appear to be a Persian. LOL

And there is still people that think we should allow animals inside a plane.

I agree with Christian, I hope the rest of the plane is built better or the dash/console was easily destroyed because of sun damage.

While not surprising, it is sad to see the growing list of carriers retiring this superjumbo jet. On Malaysia Airlines, I flew the #A380 once from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to London (LHR) and had the entire first class cabin to myself (full review on the blog). It was a beautiful flight that I will always remember.
