Review: Bangkok Airways Lounge Bangkok (BKK)

The Bangkok Airways lounge is a comfortable and well-appointed Priority Pass Lounge at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

Style is subjective, but I really liked the furniture, artwork, flooring, and wallpaper in this lounge. Perhaps that is a tertiary issue, but it seemed to mesh well with Bangkok Airways’ reputation as a full-service, high-quality carrier.

I spent about 30 minutes in this lounge around 4:30AM. A buffet offered a selection of hot and cold breakfast items plus all-day items like salad and sandwiches. Shrimp wonton or pork boiled rice soup was available to order.

The lounge is separated into many smaller alcoves rather than one large room, giving you more privacy, especially when the lounge is not crowded.

My favorite part of the lounge was the two massage chairs located in the rear. One was unoccupied and I spent the majority of my time in this very comfortable chair.

CONCLUSION

I found this 24/7 Priority Pass a solid option if you find yourself with extra time at BKK. Even so, it is still not a lounge I would arrive early to visit (unlike the Oman Air Lounge).

It looks like a decent lounge. Maybe it’s just me, but the decor and style do seem like something you’d find at LHR, for some reason.
