Delta Air Lines flight 335 returned to Atlanta after a “nutty passenger” created a disturbance onboard.

Delta A321 Diverts Due To “Nutty” Passenger Onboard

DL335, an Airbus A321 with 95 passengers onboard, was flying from Atlanta to Los Angeles on December 23, 2020. Somewhere over Mississippi it turned back for Atlanta.

Talk show host and Trump-activist Leo Terrell* recorded three videos from onboard:

Unbelievable and happening now. After flying for over 90 minutes back to Los Angeles flight returned back to Atlanta because of a nutty passenger. Crazy pic.twitter.com/qbhbFudOu7

Worst flight scenario. Everyone is safe. Thank God!!! pic.twitter.com/j74oPlbVF5

He and the other passengers onboard made it home late after a crew change.

Just landed in #LosAngeles. Thank you Lord.

I asked Delta for more details and was only provided this statement:

“Delta flight 335 returned to Atlanta due to an onboard customer disruption. The customer deplaned and the flight departed Wednesday evening. We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience this may have caused to their travel plans.”

I had to chuckle at the first video above, though. What the heck did he have wrapped in that towel?

Were you on this flight? If so, please let us know what exactly the passenger did to warrant the diversion and being thrown off.

*I used to love listening to Leo Terrell growing up on 790 KABC in Los Angeles. He had a Saturday night show and was such an angry lefty during the George W. Bush Administration that it shocked me that he’s now a Trump supporter. Apparently, he made the 180º flip earlier this year and now calls himself Leo 2.0 (but still the “fair minded civil rights attorney”). Interesting times we live in…

He had a guitar or some type of instrument wrapped in the towel. You can see the outline.

What does Leo’s support of Trump have anything to do with this situation?? If you’re going to write a bias opinion about someone, make sure it’s known who you support. Absolutely embarrassing of an editorial note.

Josh P – you are so right! The fact that Leo didn’t like Bush, but he likes Trump, has no connection with the story. Does the author always mention who supports Biden? Just curious… Interesting times we live in …

This isn’t a newspaper. It’s my blog. I write about what is on my mind with my biases clearly on display.

This is getting to be the norm anymore. People that create these problems should be charged with”disturbing the peace” and banned for life. This can be Dangerous!

Why did he take his mask off to make the second video? He’s missing the whole point of mask-wearing. Also, the “nutty passenger” assaulted a flight attendant and will be charged appropriately. Sorry for the inconvenience to you, Leo.
