Last week I kicked off my “month in Africa” trip report. I’m telling the story of my life, in a sense, and that month in Africa was nothing short of incredible.
The trip report is already written, but I have made the editorial decision to hold off on it for one more week. Earlier this year I took a trip on Turkish Airlines to Tanzania with a dear friend I used to work with at Star Alliance. Another dear friend will be traveling to the same places soon, so I want to get my trip report for Tanzania published first so that we can compare notes on the journey. Plus, these recent flights should be more helpful to more of you than my 2014 trip.
Included in the report will be four flights on Turkish Airlines, an updated review of the Turkish CIP Lounge in Istanbul, six additional airport lounge reviews, a review of the Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam and Park Hyatt Zanzibar, and details about Zanzibar. There will be a few amusing anecdotes along the way.
