Review: EasyGo VIP International Lounge – Hangzhou (HGH)

Matthew Klint Posted onAugust 3, 2018November 14, 2023 4 Comments

The EasyGo VIP International Lounge in Hangzhou (HGH) served one key purpose: I was able to charge my devices prior to my AirAsia flight.

You might have trouble finding this Priority Pass lounge unless you can read Chinese. Look for this sign:

a building with glass doors and plants

You won’t even see the Priority Pass logo until you step inside. I visited the lounge around 10pm and there wasn’t much to see: comfortable seating and power ports were the main draw (no converter necessary).

In terms of food and drink, a limited selection of packaged snacks and soft drinks were on offer. There was also a Swiss-made Jure coffee machine. As it was quite late and I hoped to sleep on the flight, I skipped my urge for a late-night espresso.

The hot food containers were empty, perhaps because it was after 10:00 p.m.

I tried some beef jerky, which tasted off, as well as Biscoff cookies (was nice to see those) and a bottle of water.

The lady at the front desk spoke no English, but was very courteous/friendly. I did not see any other lounge workers during my 45-minute stay.

CONCLUSION

The lounge is located in Terminal 2A near Gate A08 with hours of operation from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. That was perfect for me since my AirAsia flight left just a few paces away. There was also an Air China and China Southern flight leaving in the same area.

Hey Matt. The Chinese ok your “beef jerky” package says pork. Maybe that’s why it’s off. Hahahaha
