The Sussexes, who live in Santa Barbara, California, flew commercial to London Heathrow last night, according to Hello! Magazine. While their flight itinerary was not disclosed, Prince Harry has utilized American Airlines over British Airways or Virgin Atlantic on recent trips. Theoretically, the couple could have flown American, British, Virgin, or United Airlines, all of which offered nonstop flights yesterday afternoon that arrived this morning. Only American and British Airways offer a first class cabin onboard, with business class being the highest cabin on Virgin and United.
According to Hello!, the couple chose to commercial over private after receiving harsh criticism for flying via private jet during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration in June.
Prince Harry and Meghan are in the UK this week to support the charities they are part of and Prince Harry will fly to Dusseldorf, Germany for an appearance on Thursday, September 8, relating to the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event first held in 2014, for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

I got held up at departure immigration in Malawi on one of Harry’s last trips here. A guy showed up with a bunch of British diplomatic passports and cut in line ahead of us. Took about 10 minutes while the immigration guys processed the whole pile of those while freezing the line for us proletariat. He was on a private aircraft departing from Blantyre to Francistown, Botswana.
