Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back in the United Kingdom, having landed earlier today by commercial jet. While it is not clear which flight the royal couple were on, there’s a decent chance you can catch Prince Harry on British Airways next week…
Harry And Meghan Arrive In UK Via Commerical Jet, With Harry Set To Fly To Germany Next Week
The Sussexes, who live in Santa Barbara, California, flew commercial to London Heathrow last night, according to Hello! Magazine. While their flight itinerary was not disclosed, Prince Harry has utilized American Airlines over British Airways or Virgin Atlantic on recent trips. Theoretically, the couple could have flown American, British, Virgin, or United Airlines, all of which offered nonstop flights yesterday afternoon that arrived this morning. Only American and British Airways offer a first class cabin onboard, with business class being the highest cabin on Virgin and United.
According to Hello!, the couple chose to commercial over private after receiving harsh criticism for flying via private jet during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration in June.
Prince Harry and Meghan are in the UK this week to support the charities they are part of and Prince Harry will fly to Dusseldorf, Germany for an appearance on Thursday, September 8, relating to the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event first held in 2014, for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.
If I were a betting man, I’d say you have a great chance of catching Prince Harry onboard the following British Airways flight on Thursday morning:
It arrives early enough ahead of his event and Heathrow is the logical departure point if the Prince is staying at Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Castle grounds.
Another possibility would be a Eurowings flight that departs 20 minutes later, though Eurowings does not offer a full-service business class product onboard:
Of course, HRH may simply fly private for this leg of the trip.
You might also have a chance of catching the royals in first class on an American Airlines or British Airways London – Los Angeles flight at the end of next week. The couple are thought to be traveling without their children, meaning they probably will make the trip as short as possible.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle touched down in London this morning and will be spending the next week in the United Kingdom and Germany. If you’re a big fan, you have a decent chance of catching the Prince on British Airways on Thursday morning.
