I’m Selling An Invisible Airbus A350-1000 For $20 Million…

Italian Artist Salvatore Garau just sold an invisible sculpture for $18,000. I wasn’t aware of the market for invisible objects, but I’ve decided to sell an Airbus A350-1000 for only $20 Million, a huge discount off the $366.5 million list price. Do be warned, however, that the airplane is invisible.

For Sale: Invisible Airbus A350-1000

Garau explains that his latest sculpture, called Io Sono (I am), really exists “but just not in material form, and is actually more like a vacuum.”

“The vacuum is nothing more than a space full of energy, and even if we empty it and there is nothing left, according to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, that ‘nothing’ has a weight. Therefore, it has energy that is condensed and transformed into particles, that is, into us.”

He likens it to “shaping a god we have not seen.” The sculpture is 5 x 5 feet and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Based upon Garau’s inspiration, I have decided to sell an invisible A350-100. Note, the Airbus A350-1000 includes:

Again, however, note that you’ll have to imagine those specs because this particular A350 exists in a vacuum. But according to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, it still has weight and will always be a weight upon you, dear purchaser.

Tell you what: if you buy this aircraft (no invisible money accepted), I’ll fly you and a guest out to California in first class and host a formal pick-up ceremony.

I have a shrink-ray device that I will use to shrink the A350 into an invisible pocket-sized trinket which you can then return to your own aircraft hangar before restoring it to its real size.

If you are interested, please reach out to me on Twitter @liveandletsfly.

Finally, note that 50% of the purchase price will go to a worthy charity and is tax deductible.

Thanks for your interest! Let me know if you have any questions. The aircraft is pictured above.

Okay, it’s invisible. Can I still get on and fly someplace? Maybe shroud it so that it’s visible like the invisible man.

It’s a steal at that price! I’ve dusted off my dot-matrix printer and it is ready. Will a single $20,000,000 bill do, or do you prefer small bills in denominations of $7, $14 and $22? I’ll pay a 10% premium if you’ll throw in the stairs with the blog’s logo!

    😉

Thank you for the morning smile!

Lol. Very good. We should be cynical about this crap, including the latest trend: art that only exists only in digital form, sold last month for millions.

    Why the stairs?
At this price you can throw in an invisible jet bridge.

Even without the NFT, this seems like a good deal.

I will agree to the purchase, although I need it delivered to my home. Please hold it for me. I will immediately send you an invisible check as payment in full.
