British Airways has produced amazing short videos in the past. Before I include links of those, this one just came to me in an email yesterday from Heathrow and I think it looks stunning. I wasn’t aware they were starting a new route to Kuala Lumpur and I am not sure what the appetite is for the destination, but with Malaysia running a pair of A380s on the route already, it is surprising to me.

British Airways in Kuala Lumpur
A quick history on the route reveals that British Airways first launched service to Kuala Lumpur when they were then known as Imperial Airways (subtle name chaps, can’t imagine why you’ve changed it) in 1933. It took nine days with 22 stops before reaching the city, though they have now improved upon that time going to KL in under 13 hours and returning just over that.. According to the video, Kuala Lumpur (the kids call it KL) has doubled in size over the last ten years and is a personal favorite.
Here is the beautiful new launch video, clearly they are focused on business:
Here is an old favorite that I have never, ever come close to crying while watching:
Go call your mother, she misses you.
Have you flown British Airways to Kuala Lumpur? Do you have a different favorite British Airways promo?
