Hoping To Date Lufthansa Flight Attendant, Man Calls In Bomb Threat

A man who fell head over heels for a Lufthansa flight attendant called in a bomb threat in one last desperate attempt to keep her in Serbia.

The 65-year-old man confessed in a Belgrade court that he called in the bomb threat in hopes that she would change her mind and start dating him. The Serbian man had met two flight attendants during their overnight layover and asked one out on a dinner date. She declined his request but he refused to take no for answer.

Bomb threats are always taken seriously and authorities at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport evacuated LH1411, an A320 with 130 passengers and five crewmembers onboard…including the flight attendant in question. But after finding no bomb, authorities cleared the aircraft for departure  and traced the call.

Apparently, the man had never heard of a burner phone and authorities promptly traced the bomb threat to him. He was arrested and faces not only a hefty fine, but prison time. In fact, Serbian prosecutors asked the court to keep him in jail pending charges.

CONCLUSION

Part of me feels bad for this act of desperation from an older man. Yet there is no justification for calling in a bomb threat, which caused a ripple effect of delays and missed flights for the passengers onboard. More importantly, it caused unnecessary fear. Hopefully Lufthansa will send him the bill.

Why couldn’t he just do what respectable western men do. Get their friends to find high school girls to give them “massages”.

You might even become friends with two US presidents.

    Silly old goat…
BTW, I’ve never heard of a burner ‘phone either but I’m guessing that it’s some kind of instant tracking in emergencies.

The full resources of a nation is used to track down bomb threats to airlines. 100% of the people who do it get caught. Not 99%. People should stop doing this.

American Airlines used to put in its manual that people from Latin America who are late will sometimes call in a fake bomb threat to delay the flight. They took it out after charges of racism were made.

No sir a burner phone has no name associated with it. If you watch any of the Law Enforcement shows you will see how a ransom demand or drug deal or a terrorist threat would be placed on one so a bad guy can just turnit off and throw it in a garbage can and know one will know who did these things.
