Passenger Strips Naked, Watches Porn, Attacks Crew

A 20-year man has been arrested by Bangladeshi authorities after creating quite a scene onboard a Malindo flight from Kuala Lumpur to Dhaka.

After takeoff, the man stripped naked and began watching a pornographic video on his laptop. This despite several passengers sitting around him…

The crew approached him and advised him to put his clothing back on. Initially, he complied.

But once the aircraft reaching cruising altitude he stood up and attempted to hug a female crewmember. She refused his advances and he became angry.

He attempted to hug another female crewmember and when she also refused, he became even more indignant. FAs tried to clam him down, but he became increasingly agitated and attacked the crew.

With the help of passengers, the man was restrained and moved to the back of the aircraft. The flight was not full and other passengers moved up so he had a buffer zone around him.

The plane did not divert, but continued to Dhaka where he was arrested and now in jail.

A statement from Malindo Air:

The crew on board has followed the standard operating procedure in restraining the passenger from causing further disruption onboard the flight.

The disruptive passenger was accompanied by Dhaka security team upon arrival and he has been put to jail by the authorities there.

The airline will continue to stay vigilant to ensure passengers travel soundly.

CONCLUSION

I write about these “salacious” stories because we should 1.) be aware that this could happen on one of our flights and 2.) know how to act in case this occurs.

So what do you do if you something like this happens on your flight? As an aside, I think most U.S. airlines would tie the passenger up and divert, but I think Malindo Air handled this well in flying the aircraft to its destination.

You can see the peril of directly engaging the passenger. When the crew did, he attacked them. Be wary of confronting someone like this who might be dealing with mental issues…but also be prepared to assist the crew should they need help.

If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, my advice is to carefully and quickly distance yourself from the passenger and seek advice from the crew.

I had to immediately shut off my laptop when I had the movie Bruno on, when a scene with someone twirling their dick came on. Didn’t want anyone thinking I was watching gay porn.
