Picture of the Week #7: More on the AA Crash in Kingston

Matthew Klint Posted onDecember 28, 2009November 14, 2023 Leave a Comment

Three pictures today, actually. After seeing them, isn’t it hard to believe to that no one was seriously injured in the accident?

I sat next to a UPS pilot on a PHL-IAD flight on Christmas Eve who occasionally flies to Kingston and he complained that the runway in Kingston does not have grooves on it, so when it rains the water begins to accumulate immediately.

While the TSA runs around in circles utterly failing to make air travel safer, fixing up the runway in Kingston seems like a great way to legitimately address passenger safety concerns.
