Welcome to my next trip report, which will cover my recent trip to beautiful Prague, my first return to Czechia in nearly 20 years, and will include longhaul business class reviews of SAS and KLM, several lounge reviews, and a trio of hotel reviews.
A SkyTeam Business Class Trip To Prague
I chose Prague not so much for Prague itself, but because I was able to score a 50,000 one-way business class redemption on KLM via Flying Blue from Prague – Amsterdam – Los Angeles (plus $325.51 in taxes/fees). But I was so happy to return to Prague after two decades, and the historic Bohemian capital did not let me down.
The whole trip was planned around those return flights, but the outbound nicely fell into place when I found saver business class space for another 50,000 miles (this time via SAS Eurobonus) on SAS from Los Angeles – Copenhagen – Prague. Eurobonus does not even add surcharges to SAS flights, only government taxes!
The schedule forced an overnight in the Danish capital, which I quite enjoyed with some friends.

Not just for this trip report, but maybe less Mexican and coffee and more attempts to sample/showcase the local cuisine of the places you visit…

Lol ok maybe then squeezing in some local cuisine when you can in addition to visiting a Mexican restauranr…
But we try to open your eyes. There is a whole world of great cuisines beside the Mexican which you can have good quality home but you will not have those from other countries.
You’ll note that I had a Czech dinner at Imperial Café.

Late to this comment section, but in defense of Matthew, my pre-landing snack on Singapore Airlines today was a quesadilla with guac together with a cappuccino with actual latte art on it. If it’s good enough for SQ…
What’s the “ Prague Airport Business Lounge (PRG)”? Do you mean the Fast Track lounge which is landside? Were you able to get into both using your KL BP or did you use PP for Erste Premier?
I used PP for Erste Premier and nearby there is an airside “business lounge” that I actaully quite enjoyed…I used my KL J boarding pass for that.
I can’t remember if you are still a Globalist or not! But I am curious about your Hyatt elite experience in the Lindner Hotel at Prague Castle. I saw all the Hyatt linkup with Lindner hotel but always hesitate because I am not sure how they treat a Hyatt elite. I trust your opinion better than some random blogger at youtube.
I received a nice suite upgrade and breakfast. The Andaz was so much nicer, but Linder was so cheap in Prague…makes it hard to choose.
I’ve stayed at the Lindner in Vienna and Antwerp. Received a suite, 4PM checkout, and great elite treatment at both as a Globalist. Lindners aren’t fancy, but they’re cheap.

I’ve said the before but the Czech Republic consists of two major regions – smaller Moravia to the east and Bohemia to the west. So Prague is not the capital of Bohemia but the whole Czech Republic. Ah, I see you remember my post now 😉
