Shocking: Impatient Pregnant Passenger Ambushes Spirit Airlines Gate Agent In Atlanta After Boarding Delay

A tragic story from Atlanta, where a pregnant passenger attacked a Spirit Airlines gate agent and wrestled with her on the floor after being denied boarding on her flight to Philadelphia. It took several people to pull her off after which she announced to onlookers that she was six months pregnant.

Pregnant Passenger Attacks Spirit Airlines Gate Agent

On April 30, 2023, Que Maria Scott, 29, was ticketed to fly Spirit Airlines from Atlanta (ATL) to Philadelphia (PHL). Boarding was delayed and Scott approached the gate, demanding to know when boarding would begin. According to the police report, Scott then told passengers around her that “I will beat a b*tch up” (referring to the gate agent) if boarding did not immediately commence.

On that basis, she was denied boarding. This caused Scott to escalate the altercation from verbal to physical. She unexpectedly ambushed the gate agent, grabbing her and wrestling her to the floor. Although the gate agent did a great job in fighting back, Scott was more powerful and had to be pulled off by passengers in the gate area.

A shocking video of the kerfuffle was captured:

There was a fight yesterday at Atlanta Airport. They were both added to the no fly list. 😳 pic.twitter.com/svK2fKj9AZ

— Everything Georgia (@GAFollowers) May 1, 2023

Shockingly, after being pulled off Scott announced that she was pregnant. Witnesses reported they smelled alcohol on her breath.

Spirit Airlines sent Live And Let’s Fly the following statement concerning the incident:

“One of our Team Members was assaulted by an unruly passenger at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on Sunday, April 30. Spirit Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind, and this passenger is no longer welcome on any of our flights. Thank you to the Guests who assisted our Team Member and local law enforcement for their assistance. We will work with the relevant authorities to ensure this individual is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Scott was booked and charged with assault and battery and faces a steep fine and jail time.

CONCLUSION

The shocking element of this story is not the fight itself, which is common enough on Spirit Airlines, but the fact that this woman was six months pregnant and reeked of alcohol. Bad day or not, Scott does not appear fit to be a mother and I hope that she is not only held accountable criminally for her conduct but faces a civil lawsuit from the gate agent she so viciously attacked.

There’s another interesting element to this story that I will discuss shortly…stay tuned.

It’s Atlanta, what do you expect?!?

I still have nightmares about the ghetto vermin on the AirTran flights between ATL and DCA. It was basically Con Air.

We need to make airfare prohibitively expensive again and send the troglodytes back to the Greyhound station.

I agree go back to high prices and let the American trash go back to the Greyhound bus. And than if they cause a problem put them in the middle of nowhere.

I’d say it’s more shameful than tragic, a word I think is overused these days. People no longer die, they tragically die every single time.

But human beings are animals, both in the technical sense and in the sense of actions. If it’s racist, it’s human racist.

Not only did she physically accost the gate agent, she also endangered the health and welfare of her unborn baby…both in her physical attack of the agent and by consuming enough alcohol to not know better.

More people like this should procreate-NOT. How about we make retroactive abortion legal.

that horrible excuse of a woman should be jailed for life on the basis of drinking while preggo.

Better yet, prosecute her under the new Georgia abortion laws. She’s clearly trying to harm her baby

Sadly bad behavior accompanies poverty, it also travels with the wealthy. The young ladies actions are unfortunate, tragic, and indicative of society – acting an ass in public. Now I know a lot of you think you’re high class, but your comments are on par with the low rent disciples of Fox News. Yes, I know, a badge of honor.
