An American Airlines flight attendant hauled off a troubled woman who felt the need to scream out her objections to a number of issues including the “corruption” of Disney and her objection to same-sex marriage. Oh, and she wasn’t wearing a mask.
American Airlines Flight Attendant Drags Raving Mother Off Flight
The incident occurred onboard an AA flight from Dallas to Orlando. While it isn’t clear what started the encounter, a maskless woman is captured on video screaming at the passengers around her.
Among her statements:
“F***ing faggots! You corrupted Disney!”
“You think I talk to my kids about same-sex marriage? No, we don’t talk about that. But if y’all wanna talk about it, let’s talk about it. About how lesbians…?”
Another passenger onboard spoke up:
“I’m in a lesbian marriage and I fought for this country. Please get off this plane.”
A flight attendant appeared and hauled her off the plane to applause onboard. Police were waiting on the jet bridge, though it is not clear if the woman was detained.
An American Airlines spokesperson did not go into detail, providing a catch-all statement on poor passenger behavior:
“We expect our customers to comply with our policies when they choose to travel with us, and we take action when that is not the case. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and we thank our team members for their professionalism.”

How sad a woman would make such disgusting remarks, particularly in front of her children. I hope she is banned from flying on American Airlines and fined for refusing to abide by the mask mandate which she voluntarily agreed to follow by when booking her ticket with American Airlines and checking in her for her flight.
@Matthew: why keep reporting these news on your blog? Seriously, you can do much better than that. I know it is travel related but I don’t think it belongs on your blog. There is a lot of sick people out there and instead of criticizing them we should probably hope they find the help their need. Many said that the pandemic real problem would would not be Covid related but mental health issues and that is what we are seeing it all over the place. Just look the number of suicides in this country. Sad, very sad but our politicians don’t care. Please bring travel reports, restaurants reports, etc… and not news about sick people.

I believe that such person may or may not meet the criteria for mental illness but does have underlying undiscovered mental condition. Someday in the future, voters may elect a government that gives this type of person monthly disability checks. As an airline capt daily 200 people get in my airplane and have no problem playing by the rules. Curious if you’d mind if I picked which rules I played by. I make it very clear to all my passengers that the masks are required. I give them every opportunity to deplane if they choose not to wear them. And yes, I’ve had 3 removed by the police upon landing for not complying. I instruct my flight attendants not to engage them other than to let them know the police will be waiting for them upon arrival. The choice is yours.
