The Dubrovnik Airport Business Lounge (DBV) is far more comfortable than the gate area to wait for your flight, but that’s really not saying much…

Business Lounge Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) Review

Once you proceed through security, walk down the main hall and look up…way up. You’ll see the lounge on the upper level (3). It’s accessible via elevator.

Once you get upstairs, you’ll see the sign Poslovoni salon (business lounge) and a separate sign for the United Airlines lounge pointing west instead of north, but it’s the same lounge…

This is not a Priority Pass lounge or a frequent flyer status lounge, but truly a lounge for business class passengers. The lounge partners with most carriers that serve Dubrovnik and offer a premium product. Lounge hours vary and are generally from the first departure to the last departure, which is from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm during the summer months.

The lounge is just one large room with very comfortable white leather easy chairs. In that sense, the lounge is far better to wait out your flight than the gate area. And unlike the gate area, you can find some power ports (though at a ratio of one for every four seats).

Food selection is limited, with packaged sandwiches, whole fruit, and croissants as well as a coffee machine, soft drinks, beer, wine, and spirits (gin, vodka, whiskey).

I arrived just as the lounge was closing and was quickly shooed out…

As an aside, Delta operated summer seasonal service to Dubrovnik and used a lounge down the hall called the Atlantic Lounge which was closed and did not appear to be used by any other airline.

CONCLUSION

This is hardly a lounge worth arriving early for and is a bit of a pain to get to (the elevator is slow), but the public facilities are pretty poor at DBV and this will certainly beat sitting on steel benches in the gate area or fighting for a rare electric outlet in the terminal concourse.
