You have to hand it to the kids running the Twitter team at Irish budget carrier Ryanair as there’s never a dull moment. Like the poor guy who accidentally hit shift when typing his height…
Ryanair Trolls Passenger On Twitter Who Made Typo While Complaining About Legroom
Steve Merry is ostensibly 5 foot, 7 inches. While hardly considered tall, he still took to Twitter to complain about the legroom being too tight on Ryanair. His knees are pictured up against the seat in front of him.
However, Ryanair picked up on the fact that he used a double apostrophe, instead of a single one, to note his height (literally suggesting he is 5.7 inches). Here was the response:
You going to update your tinder profile then? https://t.co/U9JJuSsELP

Merry took the joke in stride, noting that, “I’m all about personality” to which Ryanair responded, “We believe you Steve.”

Hundreds responded, including Tinder, and over 65,000 liked the tweet.

You just have to love Ryanair. One person asked, “How is this a real company?”
Ryanair’s response? “Because planes.”
Because planes

While such an unorthodox way of doing social media, I think the cheeky style just fit that carrier well…
Be careful what you complain about! 😉
Could be worse, they could have used “Grinder” instead of Tinder.
“Because planes”
