Already the best Star Alliance award search engine, Continental has added the ability to search for and book Singapore Airlines, Egypt Air, and Air China awards on continental.com
Already this year Continental has added a number of carriers to their award search site including Austrian and Turkish Airlines.
The addition of Singapore Airlines is particularly valuable because of the generous amounts of award seats they have made available on the New York – Frankfurt route (although space is quickly going…).
While the addition of this airlines may allow more people to book awards themselves rather than enlist the aid of my award booking service, I am happy to see Continental continue to upgrade their award search tool. We are now only missing Swiss, Adria, and Croatia Airlines and I am told that those three airlines will soon also be searchable on continental.com.

This is fantastic news, and I hope United incorporates all this functionality into their own website once the merger operations are complete. It would be a shame to lose a tool like this!
@New Girl in the Air: I would not worry about this–I’ve been told that the CO award tool will be part of the combined United website.
Are there any fuel surcharges for awards redemption on these airlines?
