I found myself looking through cancelled itineraries this afternoon, including a flight from London to Singapore in the new A380 Singapore Suites. While I maintain that travel will rebound this year, there are many trips, including my trip to Singapore, that I likely will not be able to take. But then I watched a Singapore Airlines safety video with a symphony playing in the background…oh how it cheered me up.
A Singapore Airlines Symphony
Here’s the video:
Singapore is such a beautiful city…one of my favorite in the world. The architecture, food, and cleanliness is just so appealing.
And so, strange as it may sound, the journey through Singapore above was strangely comforting. A bit of the past, with beautiful music in the background, along with a renewed hope that there will be a day when I can step into Singapore again.
What do you listen to or watch when you are whimsically dreaming about travel?
Ouch, that hurts to look at a lost Singapore Suites booking. It’s my number one aspiration.
I remember when the first Emirates commercial came out anticipating the end of the pandemic…all these months later and still not close to the end, and so much death still to come…
