My go-to lounge in Pittsburgh when flying out is The Club, part of the Priority Pass lounge network and easily accessible regardless of which carrier you are flying.
The Club Pittsburgh (PIT) Review
Pittsburgh International Airport is undergoing a big remodel, but once you get past the construction area the airport is fairly easy to navigate with all concourses connected. The Club does tend to get crowded in the morning and afternoon, but in dozens of visits over the last couple years I have always been able to find a spot to sit.
Access + Hours + Location
The lounge is open daily at 4:30 am and open till 8:00 pm except on Saturday, when it closes at 7:30 pm. Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Diners Club, or Lounge Club cards are accepted, otherwise access is $50 for three hours (children under two years old are free). Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
You’ll find the lounge in C Concourse of PIT. As you come off the train, you can get there by going right or left…it’s about 180º around the escalator in the Center Core to the concourse.
Seating
The lounge is divided into two main parts, a front area that is centered around the buffet and tables for eating (or working) and the rear section which is much larger with ample seating, a full service bar, restrooms, and showers.
Food + Drink
Most visits to this lounge I only have coffee, but the (powdered) egg omelets are not bad and I appreciate there are often blueberries in the morning. Coffee is bad…I just head to Joe & The Juice if I need coffee.
I tend to eat more in the afternoon and find the soup and salad a nice combo (the hummus with cucumbers is also not bad, though the pasta and meat choices don’t look great).
The current menu is below.

Both restrooms and a shower suite are available. If you wish to take a shower, as the front desk attendant.
CONCLUSION
I’ve come to appreciate this lounge (though it sure cost me…) and while I will not arrive early just to use it, I do like to give myself plenty of time flying out of Pittsburgh (because the roadwork outside the terminal can be so unpredictable) and so I usually wind up with time to spare before my flight.
It is lounges like these that make me thankful I have Priority Pass membership.
The “pasta” looks like pierogies.
They are pierogies. They always have them. There rubbery, bland and have a tiny bit of filling.
Better than the disaster that is the DFW Club
I have not been in that one, but I think it’s much better than the one in LAS.
I’m surprised you’ve never had to wait to get in, or at least be waitlisted. I don’t think I’ve ever not been waitlisted at JAX. I ‘think’ I’m glad The Club lounges exist, but I don’t think I’d really miss them if they went away.
It’s not that nice, I’m there every Monday morning and the supplies are limited coffee machine usually isn’t working and food area is a mess.
Showers and bathrooms and unfinished.
It’s not that nice, but in PIT I think it beats the gate area.
It’s a mediocre lounge worthy of a crap city. I say that as someone who had the misfortune of living in PIT for 8 years
Been there and will be back there next week. The food used to be pretty good (kolbassa/kielbassa sausage) but is pretty bad now. ‘The booze is still pretty good though. I usually fly American so usually go to the Admirals Club which has better food (hard to believe).
