This weekend I’ll be speaking at the Travel & Adventure Show in Dallas and am pleased to offer Live and Let’s Fly readers free ticket for those who wish to hear me come and speak.
Travel & Adventure Show Dallas Free Tickets
I last attended the last in-person Travel & Adventure Show in Washington, DC in February 2020, just a week before the world shut down. Not only was there a nice mix of speakers, but representatives from across the travel industry offering information and answering questions about everything from train travel to religious pilgrimages, from Antarctica cruises to hiking in Nepal.
In that sense, the event helped me to realize how much is out there…we live in a wonderful world and there is so much to see.
On Saturday, I’ll be speaking on two topics:
- 12:45p -1:30p – United Airlines vs. American Airlines: Which One Is Better For You?
- 2:30p -3:15p – Miles + Points In 2021 – Is It Still Worthwhile?
If you want to hear me speak or just attend the show, click here for a free ticket (ensure that the promo code KLINT100 is entered at checkout, but the link should pre-populate that promo code.
The tickets will not only get you access to the stage where I will be speaking, but the entire convention center.
Other speakers include:
- Samantha Brown
- Paul Theroux
- Peter Greenberg
- Rudy Maxa
The event will be held at the Dallas Market Hall (2200 Stemmons Freeway) and take place 10:00am – 5:00pm on Saturday 9/11, and 11:00am – 4:00pm on Sunday 9/12.
I hope to see many of you there!
Paul Theroux has inspired so much of my adult life. I’d love to meet him.
Hi Matthew, I bought tickets for this earlier to hear you speak in this show. I might miss Saturday but aren’t you also speaking on Sunday ?
I’m only speaking on Saturday.
On the schedule it says you’re speaking on Sunday. The topic is listed as: “How to engage in sexual congress in your first class suite”
Lol. The schedule is premature.
As many things are….
These other speakers, while they are known personalities, pale in comparison with the great Matthew. Too bad there is the pandemic because I would fly to Dallas at a drop of the hat for a free ticket and be in the audience of Matthew’s two talks.
As far as miles and points, that’s a math equation. I am in a burn mode with no chance to burn. I am resigned to getting only one ticket in each of the frequent flyer programs I belong because now they are sometimes charging a whole lot for a ticket. One business class round trip could drain one’s balance completely when before that was not the case.
WTH, Paul Theroux? Wow. Since I was a teenager his books inspired every part of my life in travel. His recent, Under the Wave at Waimea, included. I am so jealous. If you don’t talk to him, Matthew, you are missing a chance of a lifetime. Anthony Bourdain is one thing, Paul Theroux, wow, he is the magician of all things in travel writing, whether fiction or non-fiction. No one understands or captures a place better.
You should spend the whole time talking about people misbehaving on airplanes and in airports. That’s all your blog is these days after all.
Thanks for your suggestion! Much appreciated.
Thank you for this post and the promo code.
Your sessions were great. Happy to put a face to the man behind the blog!
Thanks for what you do for your faithful readers!
Can’t wait to meet Peter in person today!
