So long Cowshed, hello Sunday Riley. United has unveiled new amenity kits and a partnership with a niche American beauty brand.
Later this month, United will roll out new amenity kits in Polaris (business class), Premium Plus (premium economy), and in premium transcontinental service (between SFO/LAX-EWR and SFO-BOS). These amenity kits will feature skin products from Sunday Riely.
- United Polaris business class: Amenity kit will feature four Sunday Riley products: a lip balm with pomegranate seed oil and shea butter to boost hydration; a face cream with a blend of botanicals to hydrate and soothe skin in-flight; hand cream containing a nourishing blend of shea butter, cocoa butter and rose hip seed oil; and a facial cleansing cloth containing peppermint extract to balance oil and invigorate skin.
- United Premium Plus: Amenity kit will include the lip balm and hand cream.
- United Premium Transcontinental: Amenity kit will include the lip balm.
Why Sunday Riley?
Using employee and customer research, United selected award-winning Sunday Riley as its new skincare partner based on the brand being a pioneer in green technology and high-performance skincare, with a philosophy that skincare is a vital extension of self-care and overall wellness for today’s global traveler. Combined with United’s industry-leading Polaris business class experience, this partnership provides customers with the amenities needed to feel refreshed while traveling.
Headquartered in Houston, which is one of United’s largest hub markets and where Sunday Riley herself was born and raised, her eponymous brand is recognized as a high-performance skincare line with formulations that are powered by science and balanced by botanicals to provide visible, fast results.
Sunday Riley products will also be added to restrooms in Polaris Lounges and United Clubs and in premium cabin lavatories onboard.
Also coming is new Garment Groom 2-1 spot cleaner and fabric freshener. I love that. There have been so many times I’ve accidentally spilled something and wish I could quickly clean the spot instead of changing shirts. Maybe this product will permit that.
CONCLUSION
I loved the smell of the Cowshed products and will, therefore, miss them. But I’m looking forward to trying the new Sunday Riley products.
Dude you got the exact same title as the post from FBT which was posted on boardingarea right after you posted this. If this isn’t just supernatural, then what is?

That’s odd. Hopefully not plagiarism…
Thank God CowSh!t is leaving. I did not like the smell. The body lotion – which many seemed to apply whilst in the air – was so strong and penetrating. It made me and others sneeze or at least get the sniffles. Hopefully Sunday Riley will be more pleasant smelling.
Never heard of.
Never heard of it as well. From what it looks like, just another cheap, dumbing-down “amenity kit” in a plastic pouch that United seems to take the lead with every time. Good grief, United, it’s Polaris, try to have a little “class” – you look like you’re selling crap from the Dollar Tree. Cow Shed was atrocious as well.
