Shirtless Vigilante Shows Up To Phoenix Airport With Numerous Firearms After Earlier Shooting

What a Christmas night at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)…first multiple shootings and a stabbing, then a vigilante who showed up to the airport with a cache of weapons thinking he was going to hunt an active shooter that did not exist.

Shirtless Vigilante At PHX Airport Shows Up With Three Guns After Family Disputes Leads To Three Gunshot Injuries, One Stab Injury

A family dispute at a landside (pre-security) restaurant in PHX Terminal 4 quickly turned violent, with a gun drawn, three people shot, and one stabbed. The nature of the dispute is not known, but it is thought that all four involved were related. It occurred at around 9:45 pm on December 25, 2025. One person is in critical condition after being shot while three others are in stable condition. One of the family members was also stabbed…

Frenzied news alerts went out after this incident and one local man assumed that the airport was under attack. He grabbed three firearms and headed for the airport. When he arrived (apparently without shoes or a shirt), he ran into the terminal only to be stopped by an officer. As the Phoneix Police Department later explained:

“He was told by a relative at the airport a shooting occurred earlier in the evening. The man, later identified as 21-year-old Cole Nenon, handed his firearms to other individuals at the airport before he approached an officer who was posted just outside the shooting scene. Nenon appeared irate and began yelling at the officer as he approached him. The officer gave Nenon commands to stop but he did not. The officer was able to take the man to the ground and placed him under arrest.”

Nenon thankfully voluntarily set down his weapon and lowered himself to the ground to be arrested, but then struck and spat on an officer (and was later booked on aggravated assault charges).

Note to self: let the police do their job…

We were already at the scene because of a domestic violence incident inside Terminal 4 just two hours prior. After hearing talks of an "active shooter" at Sky Harbor, this man arrived with his own guns. https://t.co/I4HBjW1syi pic.twitter.com/KWyb0odNjF

Unimaginable why Greenlanders, Canadians, or Panamanians don’t want to become part of the US.

Presumably, the greatest country on Earth. W/ the smartest President ever. \s

A country for which other countries have issued travel warnings about gun violence everywhere obviously can’t be the “greatest country on Earth”.

I notice that all the people the jump in when a minority is arrested at the airport are missing from the thread. Of course, we have the traditional white man excuse that drugs made him do it.

Is this what the Founding Fathers meant when they wrote the 2nd Amendment?

No… according to the GOP, it’s actually because they need it to stand up against “tyranny”.
(yet a lot of the people who claim this tend to unconditionally worship the police… that seems a bit hypocritical, also look how they reacted when Denver’s mayor suggested using the 2nd Amendment to resist mass deportations.)

Perhaps we can send in the Proud Boys militia to take over Panama and Greenland; after all they gained a lot of valuable plotting and staging a failed coup in Washington in January 2021.
