I stumbled upon a marvelous coffee shop inside Orlando International Airport called Zaza that rivals Buena Vista at Miami International as my all-time favorite airport cafés.
Best Coffee In Orlando International Airport (MCO)
You’ll find this coffee shop in Pier 3 of MCO. Take the train from check-in to Gates 30-59 and you’ll find Zaza in the main hub area before the spokes which go to the gate areas.
Note the line in the picture above. That’s the “to-go” line at 7:00AM. But look to the right side where it says “bar.” There’s your key to avoiding a long wait. Have a seat at the bar and enjoy your coffee there. You’ll be waited on immediately. If you want to take it to go, you can…and still avoid the long line.

I ordered a cortado (double shot of espresso topped with a touch of steamed milk) and was blown away by how strong and bold the flavor was. This was precisely what I needed after a redeye flight. I also ordered a glass of orange juice with it, which is freshly squeezed onsite.
The barista was very friendly too and I just cannot underscore how much better this is than Starbucks or Coffee Bean.
If you’re hungry, there are lovely tortas available throughout the day.
CONCLUSION
Zaza offers wonderful espresso at Orlando International Airport at reasonable prices with friendly service. I look forward to each trip through MCO primarily to enjoy the coffee.
Reasonable prices? I wonder. For those of you who don’t know, coffee and tea are diuretics and you WILL want to urinate (pee) and use the bathroom (of course, everybody is different). I try to avoid the ‘bathroom problem’ when I travel. But coffee is all good, so sure, Enjoy!
MCO is my home base and flying mostly American, I’m always flying out of a 30-59 gate. The line is usually longer than the one in your pic, but it moves relatively quickly, certainly faster than the TSA pre-check line.,
The food at Zaza’s is great as well – Ham/Egg/Cheese croissants, Cubanos, oatmeal and other breakfast items. There are several other branches around Orlando including one near my office in Waterford Lakes, that serves breakfast items al day, and offer lunch and dinner items as well (lechon asado, vaca frita, ropa vieja) – never had a bad meal at Zaza’s.
MCO is horrible. Lines are terrible and the way the airport is designed is too. Nearly everyone there is a tourist, which means no one knows what they are doing and everything moves at a snails pace.
Starbucks??? LOL!!! There is a reason there are only 11 Starbucks locations in Italy and they are often the place you will find most tourists mainly from China. Italians don’t bother going there.
Zaza is an Orlando chain of Cuban Restaurants and they are pretty good.
The outlet at the airport is good, I have a weakness for their empanadas.
Zaza’s Is excellent and has great friendly customer service.
Looks great. Toratas is a Mexican sandwich, if is a cuban sandwich is a cuban or midnight.
looks great thanks alot
