Flying from London to San Francisco takes 11 hours. But thanks to one innovative pilot, you can re-live the journey in less than four minutes.
British Airways’ Captain David Wallsworth is a Twitter and YouTube sensation for his time-lapse videos from the cockpit of his flights. His latest video tracks the journey of BA287 from London Heathrow to San Francisco.
Pay attention to the approach into San Francisco: that’s the best part of the video. Beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge are present. The flight also flies over Greenland, a fascinating land I hope to visit later this year.
I wrote about Captain Wallsworth last December, in which he discussed what it was like to land an A380. It seems to me he is a perfect ambassador for British Airways: these videos are non-controversial and he posts these with the full authorization and approval of British Airways.

CONCLUSION
I love pilots who love their jobs. Captain Wallsworth reminds me a bit of former United Captain Denny Flanagan. When you love your job, it shows.
