Celebrate Your Independence Day at Frequent Traveler University

Happy Fourth to my U.S. readers, as we celebrate Independence Day across this great land. Declaring Independence from Great Britain, colonial leaders resolved to sacrifice their “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor” in furtherance of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” While I cannot offer you such lofty aspirations, the old “teach a man to fish” metaphor comes to mind as I think about the two upcoming Frequent Traveler University Advanced sessions: seminars that will give you independence from relying on others and equip you to exert total control over your travel experience.

August 21-23, 2015 – FTU Advanced Washington, DC
September 25-27, 2015 – FTU Advanced Dallas

The reason I write this blog and speak in these seminars is because I am passionate about sharing my love of the hobby with you — a part-time hobby has turned into a full-time hobby. Note I say hobby, not job. It is why I chose to set my political science and law degrees aside and focus on this. I run Award Expert (also check out Rocky’s new service, bookingguru.org) and dispense advice all day to clients on how to effectively use airline miles and credit card points. And it brings me great pleasure to do this.

FTU, though, is not about me drumming up more clients but rather about teaching those who want to do it themselves how to do it and those who already know how to do it themselves to do it better. As I always say, most of what we discuss at FTU can be found on my blog, other blogs, and FT if you look hard enough, but there simply is nothing like having it all presented in a single, digestible chunks with the ability to ask questions and have them instantly answered.

So I hope to see/meet many of you at upcoming FTUs in Washington in August or in Dallas in September. There are very few tickets left, particularly to the Washington event in August. Gain your independence and learn how to effectively. Full schedule of speakers and seminars as well as a sign-up link for each event here.
