Fly Qatar Airways Qsuites for Less Than $2K R/T

You can fly over 26 hours in Qatar Airways’ latest Qsuite Business Class for less than $2,000.

One Mile at a Time notes an incredible round-trip fare from Muscat to New York. Return fares start at just $1783.71 r/t.

Yes, the trip starts in Muscat, a stable and beautiful country in the Middle East. Indeed, you have to sandwich this around a second round-trip to/from Muscat if you are in the USA.

But if you’re interested in visiting Muscat and trying out Qatar’s fabulous new Qsuite product (or even its excellent A350 business class), this is a fare you should seriously consider.

My suggestion, barring a great fare in the other direction, is to use miles to reach Muscat and back. Look for award space on Lufthansa via Frankfurt, Etihad via Abu Dhabi, Emirates via Dubai, or Saudia via Jeddah. There are many other options as well, but these tend to offer the best award space (especially in premium cabins). If you don’t want to spend money, Gulf Air offers cheap ticket to Muscat via London and Bahrain, with the flights between New York and London operated by American Airlines (under $900 r/t). Stopovers in Bahrain are also available, though watch out for the cab drivers.

You can read my recent Qsuite business class review here. The hard product is amazing and offers unparalleled privacy for a business class product.

Do be aware that this fare likely won’t last long.

Also could be a good way for people in Muscat to visit New York, a stable and beautiful country in North America.

Just as Muscat is not a county.
