Today: Chicago Seminars 2020

Today marks the 11th annual Chicago Seminars, the “original” travel conference that brings experts and novices together to talk miles, points, credit cards, airline, and hotel loyalty programs in a low-key format. This year’s event will be in the form of a telecast and it’s not too late for you to join.

Chicago Seminars 2020

Organized by my friend and colleague Stefan Krasowski of Rapid Travel Chai and Every Passport Stamp, speakers will include:

  • Dia Adams
  • Tiffany Funk
  • Howie Rappaport & Rick Ingersoll
  • Nick Reyes & Stephen Pepper
  • Jamal Robinson
  • Shawn Coomer & Mark Ostermann
  • Dave Homyak
  • Thomas Carnevale
  • Zachary Finkelstein
  • Henning Mente
  • Marty Paz & JJ Todd

I’ll be speaking as well. This year my topic is on Aeroplan.

I’m told there will be “celebrity cameos” as well!

Tickets are only $11 each and proceeds will benefit four charities:

  • Airline Ambassadors International
  • Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund
  • Semper Fi Fund
  • UNICEF

You can buy tickets here. If you miss it, you can buy access to the recorded telecast later.

The Chicago Seminars were founded by Howie Rappaport and Rick Ingersoll, two great men who I have had the pleasure of knowing for over a decade. Earlier this week they reminisced about the last decade, which you can watch below:

CONCLUSION

This will be the first time in four years I’ll be speaking at the Chicago Seminars. Four years ago I was confirmed but had to cancel due to the brith of my son. I’ve missed it greatly…both meeting the happy new entrants into the world of miles and points and the wonderful familiar faces that I so enjoyed re-connecting with each year. I hope to see many of you later today!

I’d love to hear you speak. Maybe on the upcoming election? 😉

Sorry, can’t make it. I have some meetings to arrange with some Ukrainian gas execs, followed by some Chinese financiers, after which I’ll be looking for some massive MS opportunities. You’ll be hearing about it soon.
