Must Watch: Delta Air Lines Passenger Grabs Fire Extinguisher And Starts Spraying After Dine And Dash Incident At Atlanta Airport

In hot pursuit after her dine and dash, a woman darted down a jetbridge at a Delta Air Lines gate in Atlanta before springing up with a fire extinguisher and spraying onlookers as she sought to evade payment for her chicken wings.

Dine And Dash At Atlanta Airport Leads To Frazzled Woman Grabbing Fire Extinguisher From Delta Air Lines Jetbridge In A Futile Attempt To Escape

This incident occurred in January last year but somehow I missed it until now…forgive me for being late to the game, but the videos (below) of what happened sent me into a tizzy.

Jennifer Kaye Holder, 27, of Dayton, Ohio, purportedly got into an argument at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Staff claimed she failed to pay for her chicken wings while she claimed that someone else paid for her (maybe an imaginary friend or a secret admirer?).

Security was notified and she was followed from the restaurant, causing her to dart into a Delta Air Lines jetbridge.

She emerged brandishing a fire extinguisher and letting it rip in an attempt to create a path of escape for her.

Video shows children running from her and other travelers ducking for cover.

The exhaust from the fire extinguisher created quite a haze in the terminal.

Holder was later arrested in the cloud of smoke and charged with:

  • one count of obstructing law enforcement officers
  • two counts of simple assault
  • three counts of simple battery

Three people were treated for minor respiratory discomfort due to the smoke from the fire extinguisher.

CONCLUSION

Again, sorry this report was as delayed as a Southwest Airlines flight over Thanksgiving, but this really was the first time I saw it…and I cannot stop replaying the videos above (especially the first one).

Did she really think this would not end well?!

Pay $25 versus being charged with six misdemeanors. This is embarrasing behavior regardless of when this occurred.

Sounds like she got off easy with those charges. I do wonder if there will also be a banning from Delta and possibly even other airlines as well? There definitely should be with her mental state.

The count of obstructing law enforcement officers could be serious as well as the 6 misdemeanors adding up. I’m surprised she wasn’t charged with theft of the fire extinguisher and, of course, dine and dash.

“sorry this report was as delayed as a Southwest Airlines flight over Thanksgiving” … cheap shot. And totally unnecessary.

To the contrary … it was a droll and funny aside .

Trump also needs a sense of humour .

Tell your bosses at Southwest that you deserve a raise for sticking up for them…

Fascinating that she just strolls on like her entitled self. And the crowd does nothing.

Re: “ January last year ”, what was the outcome? Did she go to trial? Plead guilty? Sentenced? Committed to an insane asylum? Sent to detox/rehab?

Believe me, I checked. I could not find the answer. Will update the story if I do.

Are we defining the word in the same way?

Tizzy (noun): to get excited, worried, or nervous about something, especially something that is not important.

This is what happens when you allow people to leave Dayton.

An armed school teacher could have prevented this. I renew my call for allowing traveller’s to self-identify as Sky Marshall’s so that this kind of insanity can be dealt with swiftly and permanently.
