Delta Air Lines operates eight lounges out of its fortress hub at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). This review focuses on the Sky Club in Concourse F, a spacious lounge in the international terminal with a lovely terrace.
Delta Sky Club Concourse F Review – Atlanta (ATL)
Picture ATL like a series of vertical lines, almost like a bar graph, starting in Terminal T and then going A – B – C – D – E – F. Terminal F is the seventh concourse you come to after clearing security on the “domestic” side of the airport or the first on the “international” side. It’s a massive airport and Delta offers many lounges. These lounges tend to get very crowded and this lounge was no exception, though it was large enough that there was no trouble finding a seat.

Hours + Access + Location
The lounge is open daily from 6:45 am to 12:00 am and is located in Concourse F on the mezzanine level (one level above departures).

Side note: what a beautiful terminal compared to the rest of the airport…

The lounge is split into four areas.
Seating
Before the recent opening of the new D Concourse Sky Club, this was Delta’s premier lounge in Atlanta, including two levels of seating, a large dining area, and an outdoor terrace.
As you enter the lounge, you can turn left for the food and beverage area followed by more seating and the shower suites or you can turn right for a large seating area. You can also head upstairs for a smaller seating area or head out to the terrace.
Terrace
The terrace alone was nearly 2,000 square feet and mostly empty…a surprise considering it was a very mild morning with mostly sunny conditions. There are padded chairs (most have plugs within reach) and round tables with seating for four.
From the terrace, you can enjoy excellent views of the apron:
Food + Drink
I arrived during the transition from breakfast to lunch. The same breakfast spread was available as in other lounges (including sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, salad, bagels, toast, and croissants) along with extras like fresh berries and cheese cubes.
Lunch came out around 10:30 am with the buffet closed off with belted stanchions while the transition was made. The lunch selection looked good, including sandwiches, salads, crackers and dip, Brussels sprouts, vegetable stir fry, and char sui ribs.
A full-service bar offers a variety of complimentary and for-purchase alcohol. Self-serve soft drinks, water (with many flavors), tea, and coffee and are available.
Restrooms + Showers
Restrooms and showers are available (this Sky Club, along with the E Sky Club are the only two Delta lounges with showers).
Restrooms:
The shower area is in the rear of the lounge and there was no wait for a shower suite. Shower products are from Grown Alchemist. I like the red subway tiles in the restrooms.
CONCLUSION
This was one of my favorite Sky Clubs in Atlanta: the lounge was large and not overcrowded, and the food selection was better than in A, B, or C (which is not a surprise considering this is the lounge Delta One passengers embarking on longhaul flights are most likely to use).
Ok folks, we’ve finished the ATL Sky Club reviews…onto the Korean Air flight!
did you review the D lounge?
Wasn’t open yet (Feb)…instead there were the two older ones which I did photograph, but see no point in reviewing.
I have a rare delta flight to and from ATL in 10 days….I will try for 2 sky clubs – the D one and whichever is nearer my gate.
Are you going to rank the lounges from favorite to least favorite?
Seems incomplete till I visit new D Lounge, but
E > F > A > A18 > B > C > M
M.K. I think you mean T? M=T
Yes.
I think this has the best features in all the ATL clubs, but feels cramped, from the buffet area to that narrow hallway with seats leading to the showers. I have witnessed a kerfuffle between guests in the terrace though, so that was fun.
I still prefer E even if I have to fly out of F
D wins!!!for now.. Real plates and silverware..
