Enhanced Food Offerings in US Airways Philadelphia Clubs

Matthew Klint Posted onFebruary 24, 2012December 6, 2016 6 Comments

When US Airways recently turned its Philadelphia Envoy Lounge into a regular US Airways Club, it promised enhanced food offerings in the afternoon at all US Airways Clubs in Philadelphia. For those who do not remember, the Envoy Lounge was a premium US Airways Lounge for departing international business class passengers. It featured a wide-selection of food and complimentary alcohol and was one of my favorite lounges in the United States. While the enhanced food offerings are not quite as extensive as before, there is enough food for a substantial snack.

Complimentary items include:

  • vegetable soup
  • tortilla chips and salsa
  • olives
  • sweet potato chips
  • cheese and crackers
  • apples
  • cookies

And the soup is pretty darn tasty! You can also order sandwiches and salads from the bar.

You know things are bad at UA when US has better food in their clubs! 😮

It’s a joke for international Envoy passenger. If USAIRWAYs wants to keep international travelers then open up a club that at least matches other airline international clubs. When you have to leave to get any type of substantial food or have to get a coupon for a drink then its time to switch airlines.
