Frequent Traveler University in Dallas is coming up on 17-19 April 2015 and this event will be the only FTU in 2015. If you are new to the world of miles and want a fun-filled yet educational weekend that will teach you all the basics and even several advanced tricks about miles and points, you do not want to miss this event.
The entire presentation schedule is now available and some great additional speakers have been added including Tiffany from One Mile at a Time!
I will be delivering two presentations at FTU Dallas including “A Different Take On Award Bookings” and “All About MilaegePlus”. The award booking talk will share my general philosophy on award travel, how I search for award space, and tips and tricks for always getting the best deal when redeeming your miles and points. In my United talk I will talk all about MileagePlus, noting that the program will undergo a big change on 01 March as award mileage earning becomes based upon ticket price and not miles traveled. We will unpack all these changes.

Tickets are $149 and can be purchased here and include–
-Two full days of expert-led sessions
-Welcome cocktail reception on Friday night
-Breakfast and lunch both days
-Q & A time
I underscore the importance of the last point. Of course you can ask me any question you would like on this blog and you will get an answer but there is nothing like person-person dialogue where a real discussion can take place.
FTU takes place at the Hyatt Regency DFW and if you need a room, a $99 discounted rate is available.
I will be speaking at FTU Advanced in Dallas in April as well as FTU Advanced in San Diego next month and I hope that you will also consider attending future FTU Advanced events. Both of the aforementioned events sold out within 24 hours and these smaller and more intimate gatherings are perfect once you have attended FTU. But if you don’t know the basics or just want a comprehensive refresher course without spending days reading through blogs or Flyertalk, you definitely want to attend the upcoming Dallas event.
