Further United International Expansion to Athens, Barcelona, Lisbon

Matthew Klint Posted onOctober 13, 2015December 5, 2016 1 Comment

On the heels of United Airlines’ announcement last week that it would commence service from its San Francisco hub to Xi’an, Auckland, and Tel Aviv comes news that it will add three summer routes next year, including the resumption of service to Athens.

A United FA on Flyertalk leaked the news over the weekend and today United made it official—

United’s new international flights are good news for international travelers and those looking for more mileage redemption options. While it is unlikely we will see saver award space in business class on these premium routes, it always pays to keep an eye out on United.com if you want to use miles to get to Spain, Portugal, or Greece next summer. We just might get lucky.
