How To Get Arrested on a Plane

Many are tense now with recent terrorist attacks in Paris and Beirut still a vivid memory as is the downing of a Russian jet in Egypt. With that heightened fear, I can only imagine what passengers onboard a British Airways flight from London to Boston this afternoon felt when an unruly passenger attempted to open the exit door inflight.

In a statement, the FAA said–

A passenger on British Airways Flight 213, a 777 en route from Heathrow to Boston, tried to open an exit door and has been restrained. The cockpit is secure and the flight is continuing to Boston.

Really smart move — everyone’s scared and you rush for a door that cannot be opened. Anyone want to guess if alcohol was involved?

The passenger was arrested in Boston and we see once again a story of passengers and crew (not air marshals) stepping up to save the day.
