When an exceptionally attractive deal is presented to me, I will pass it on to you. In the case of luxury last-minute cruise deals for up to 50% off on Swan Hellenic, I cannot ignore the unbelievable discounts the British cruise line is currently offering.
Save Up to 50% On Last-Minute Cruise Deals With Swan Hellenic
I’ve written over 10,000 stories on Live And Let’s Fly over the last 13 years and very rarely used this space to sell products. I’m a skeptical consumer and have never been a shill, much to my personal detriment in the golden era of credit card referral bonuses. So when I tell you something is a worth a second look, I hope you understand I am not simply pushing a worthless product. This is not a paid post and I do not write it for the minor commission I would receive if you book via me (I have better ways to make money…).
Kyle, who writes on Sundays on Live And Let’s Fly, also owns Scott & Thomas, a full-service travel agency that partners with Award Expert and specializes in luxury cruises. We’ve been chatting this week and he brought my attention to a promotion from Swan Hellenic, a small but established player the luxury cruise market, with an unpublished sale of up to 50% off retail on a host of cruises around the world in the months ahead.
It’s very simple. As the company seeks to scale up after its recent acquisition of a trio of new luxury liners, it is offering steep discounts on unsold space for travel over the next several months.
Truly All-Inclusive
Forget onboard credits. On Swan Hellenic, everything is included for stateroom guests–from alcohol to unlimited wi-fi internet to gratuity to land excursions. You can eat when you want, as often as you want, in the comfort of your room or in one of the many onboard restaurants. There is no nickel and diming. Gambling, top-shelf liquor, and spa treatments are extra, but you really will not have to open your wallet for anything else.
In every port, there is a free excursion or you are welcome to explore on your own. Of particular interest to me, every vessel not only has pools, but a gym, sauna, and steam room.
Here’s what you can expect as part of the cruise fare package at no extra cost:
- Regional flights to the port of embarkation and/or disembarkation
- available for Antarctica cruises starting or ending in Ushuaia or Arctic cruises starting and ending in Longyearbyen and Kangerlussuaq
- Group return transfers from the airport to the cruise port
- One-night pre-cruise accommodation with breakfast in a four or five-star hotel (or onboard)
- All meals onboard
- 24-hour room service
- Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and selected alcoholic beverages available 24 hours per day
- Lecture programs
- Wi-Fi
- Onboard gratuities and port taxes
- One shore excursion/expedition activity per port of call
- Gear included parka and rubber boots for use during your journey
I like the sound of that.
Small Ships
Unlike massive cruise lines, you can expect a near even ratio of crewmemebrs and passengers onboard. For example, the SH Vega accommodates 152 guests with 120 crew members…a very attractive ratio.
The current fleet consists of three modern vessels, including:
- SH Minerva
- SH Vega
- SH Diana
Worldwide Network
From Antarctica to the Arctic, from South America to Africa, from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean, Swan Hellenic offers luxury cruises around the world.
One cruise that has particularly caught my attention is a 21-day cruise from Cape Town to Ushuaia via the Antarctic Peninsula, with calls at South Orkney, South Georgia, and Tristan da Cunha (part of Saint Helena).
Another journey from Mombasa, Kenya (where I just spent time) to Maputo, Mozambique via Madagascar has also caught my eye.
Here’s a sampling of other upcoming cruises:
You can review the full list of upcoming cruises here.
Swan Hellenic does specialize in Arctic expeditions, capturing the spirit of Roald Amundsen with North Pole journeys which include polar bears and a first-hand look at ice floe with expert guides on the Arctic Ocean. These polar expeditions allow you to discover the Arctic including an expedition cruise through the Canadian polar region (though not quite through the entire Northwest Passage).
How To Get Up To 50% Off Swan Hellenic Cruises
Through this promotion, you can save up to 50% on select cruises for sailing dates between June 2023 and November 2023. Prices via the link above are based on double-occupancy and are pre-discount.
While it feels a tad like a 1990s informercial (my name is not Ron Popeil), I’ve been warned that I cannot publish pricing. You’ve got to reach out to me (or Scott & Thomas directly) to get pricing on the cruises you want. As it was explained to me, the cheap pricing undercuts some of its distribution outlets, therefore prices will only be disclosed in private consultation with me or an advisor at Scott & Thomas.
Should you write me (rather than provide my email address, use the contact form above or reach out via Scott & Thomas and please mention Live and Let’s Fly), I will do my best to promptly respond and help coordinate your trip.
When I wrote about Antarctica cruises last year, there was a large response and I do expect one here too (by the way, Seabourn Cruise also continues to offer excellent deals).

I can tell that this is a shill piece because not one spelling error was found 😀 I kid, I kid 😉
LOL. I did this post while Augustine was at gymnastics this morning. So boring I couldn’t help but to pay better attention to what I was typing! 😉
The solution is simple, you need to enrol Augustine in Gymnastics 5 days a week and take him there so we can have frewer srpelling errors. I mean what kind of person makes mistakes when writing with errors from spelling. 😛
I had to rub my eyes, a post that isn’t about United and without an obvious spelling error.
At least we know that Matthew is writing the articles and not ChatGPT! ;0
As my mother always said, 50% off something that is a lot of money, will still be a lot of money. Tempted though.
